    Podemos mencionar algunas de las mejoras más relevantes realizadas en esta obra, como son todo lo relativo a los temas de seguridad y auditorías en Informática, administración de redes y sistemas, la prestación de servicios ""outsourcing"", contratos a los que se les han intercalado comentarios y recomendaciones, fruto de la amplia experiencia del autor, así como la inclusión de capítulos sobre algunos aspectos relativos a la arquitectura cliente/servidor y, la reorganización y ampliación de los apéndices.

    En resumen este libro es el compendio y resultado de mucho trabajo, experiencia y conocimientos del autor, que quienes hemos dedicado nuestra vida a estos temas mucho apreciamos, durante mi ejercicio profesional de más de cuarenta años trabajando en prácticamente todas las áreas de la hoy denominada tecnología de la información, fundamentalmente en el sector público, más de treinta y seis años como profesor del área de Ingeniería de Sistemas y Planeación en la Facultad de Ingeniería de la UNAM y otros cargos y responsabilidades que sería largo mencionar, la actualización de mis conocimientos fue realizada consultando la información de manera siempre dispersa, lo que ahora con esta obra se tiene reunida en un solo libro, por esto y otras cualidades me permito expresar estos comentarios ya que en mi opinión este es uno de los mejores y más completos tratados en el tema."
