    La ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor (LFPC) mexicana define al consumidor como “la persona fisica o moral que adquiere, realiza o disfruta como destinatario final bienes, productos o servicios”. Por tanto la ley lo considera el sujeto principal de protección, es decir, el que compra bienes o contrata la prestación de servicios para uso personal o de su familia.
